Cherrysmoke EP Art

Commission- 2025

The most recent project I did was for a local band. Cherrysmoke have a new EP coming out and came to me with some ideas and a google drive of images. I had a lot of fun playing around with different styles as they gave me a lot of freedom to explore and experiment. Eventually they chose the top left design which they have now posted and advertised on their Instagram account.

'Julia' Graphic Prop Lookbook

Graphic Design MA Project- 2024

In short, this self-initiated project revolves around the novel Julia by Sandra Newman, a feminist retelling of the George Orwell's highly-acclaimed novel 1984

I combined my experience, interest and enthusiasm for films/ film production, production design and visual storytelling and decided to designed a series of graphic props that could be featured within the film adaptation of the novel.

Check out my studio pdf, where you can see my research, my development and final outcome in more depth.

The Blue Moon Clubbers

History & Futures Module- 2024

The Blue Moon Clubbers is a concept for a graphic novel revolving around the history of The Blue Moon Club, an old mod club that thrived in Cheltenham from 1965 until 1967. This club hosted a huge range of big names such as The Who, Elton John, David Bowie and most notably, Jimi Hendrix.

My idea for this project was to illustrate the stories told by the people who experienced this club first hand. This was an explorative piece that allowed me to play around with my own unique analogue drawing style- something I hope to refine over time.

The Final Girl Survival Guide
& The Nest

Application & Interaction Module- 2023

These two projects were in response to two different briefs.
The Final Girl Survival Guide was a response to the self-initiated segment of the module where we had to create an outcome that represents a part of who we are, our interests and our practice.

The Nest was in response to the
‘Make Natural’ brief from the RSA Student Design Award challenges, which employed us to think of ways in which ‘we might create sustainable, nature-based solutions that uses trees to protect the environment and strengthens communities.'

The Pigeon Project

Studio & Entrepreneurship Module- 2023

This project was in response to brief where we had to create "an original artefact driven by personal practice, entrepreneurial insight or social need."

My response looked specifically into a range of unique, specialised pigeon-shaped badges- each designed with the goal of bringing the different creative practices (that resided around Cheltenham) together.

The Wilson Zine Club

Studio & Entrepreneurship Module- 2023

This project was in response to brief where we were to create "a proposal for a digital tool or process to aid collaboration".

I was thoroughly inspired by the playful, collaborative and unique designs of zines and my response to this brief was a proposal for a potential zine club that could be held at The Wilson Art Gallery in Cheltenham.

Who Am I?

Contemporary Practice Module- 2023

The first module of my Master's course gave me a lot of opportunities to delve deeply into who I am as an individual, where I come from, my interests that define my character, and how that ultimately affects my design practice and outcomes.
